Smoked Chicken Thighs
Preheat your Traeger Grill to 250˚F with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
Generously season the chicken thighs on all sides with your favorite bbq rub and drizzle evenly with avocado oil.
Once the Traeger has reached its goal temperature, lay the seasoned chicken thighs directly on the grill grates and cook for 1 hour.
After the first hour, brush the chicken thighs with your favorite BBQ sauce, flip and continue to cook for an additional 45 minutes or until the chicken thighs reach an internal temperature of 170˚F.
Remove from the grill and serve with more BBQ sauce.
Grilled Chicken Thighs
Add 2 pounds of chicken thighs to a zip top bag or airtight container and pour your favorite marinade over them. Seal the container and refrigerate for 4 hours.
When you are ready to cook, preheat your Traeger Grill to 400˚F and let it preheat for 15 minutes.
Once the grill has preheated, lay the chicken thighs directly on the grill grates and cook with the lid closed for 8-10 minutes.
Flip the chicken thighs and cook for an additional 10-12 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 175˚F.
Remove from the grill and serve.
