Quick Cooking Chicken Wings
Set your Traeger 375˚F and preheat with the lid closed for 15 minutes.
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels. Season the wings on all sides.
Once the Traeger has reached 375, lay the wings directly on the grill grates and cook for 15-20 minutes with the lid closed. Flip the wings after the 15-20 minute and continue cooking for an additional 15-20 minutes.
While the wings cook, prepare your favorite sauce and combine with melted butter. Set these aside so they're ready when your wings are done cooking.
After 35-40 minutes of cooking or when the wings reach an internal temperature of 190-200˚F remove them from the Traeger directly to the bowl with your sauce. Stir the wings so they are all evenly coated with sauce and serve as desired.
Smoked Chicken Wings
Set your Traeger to 225-250˚F and preheat with the lid closed for 10-15 minutes.
Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and season on all sides.
Once the Traeger has reached the smoking temperature, lay the wings directly on the grill grates and cook with the lid closed for 45-60 minutes.
After the 45-60 minute mark, increase the grill temperature to 375˚F and cook for an additional 15-20 minutes or until the chicken skin has reached your desired texture.
Remove the wings from the grill and toss in your favorite or second favorite wing sauce.
