An Easy After-School Snack
The best part about this 4 ingredient peanut butter yogurt dip is that it is so easy to make. I am tired, busy, and have too much to do. So when we get home from school pick-up, I love busting out this dip for my kids because they are hungry!
Busy Mom Ingredients

This is a go-to, easy dip recipe because of the simple ingredients. If you have children, I bet you also have all of these already on hand.
- Creamy Peanut Butter
- Plain or Vanilla Yogurt
- Honey
- Vanilla Extract
For the Peanut butter, you can use natural peanut butter if you prefer the less-processed version. You can also substitute other nut butters if you're feeling adventurous.
Why are there so many kinds of yogurt at the grocery store? There are way too many choices these days. The health-nut option is plain Greek yogurt for the added protein. Regular yogurt blends a little easier with peanut butter for a smooth dip, but this is your fruit dip, so pick what you like.
How to Make Easy Peanut Butter Dip

Combine the four ingredients in a large mixing bowl and stir until they are combined. Another option is to use an electric hand mixer if you want a more fluffy texture.
If you are serving this to a group of friends, you can add some chopped peanuts to the top as a garnish.
Best Dippers

Grab what you have on hand. If it works with peanut butter, it probably works with this dip.
- Apple Slices
- Graham Crackers
- Strawberries
- Nila Wafers
- Pear Slices
- Pretzel Sticks
Recipe Modifications
So, you can make this dip as simple or fancy as you like. You can also make it ultra healthy with all natural unprocessed ingredients or you shoot for the moon by making it all high fat, extra sugar, loads of sweetness.
If I have friends over and put this out for the kids, I'll add mini chocolate chips.
For the sweetness, you can swap the honey for maple syrup or agave nectar.
Saving Leftover Dip

If you have leftovers, which you probably will, transfer the dip to an airtight container and save in the refrigerator for up to 7 days depending on the expiration date on your yogurt. Since that is the only perishable item in the dip, just make a note of that.
I will also save this dip in smaller individual containers so I can pack them in my kid's lunch for a healthy snack.
