Cheesecake Fruit Dip is one of those guilty pleasures that I am totally able to justify. It's an easy dessert recipe that comes with fresh fruit. The fruit and cheesecake cancel each other out. Plus, I'll take cheesecake however I can get it. Mini cheesecakes. Cheesecake ice cream (esp. at Cold Stone). I even spread this stuff on bagels in the morning.

What Makes This The Best Fruit Dip

My favorite thing about an easy cream cheese fruit dip recipe is how simple the ingredients are and how it gets everyone eating big serving of your favorite fresh fruits. The combination of cream cheese with powdered sugar and a splash of vanilla has all creamy texture and flavor to satisfy my sweet tooth. So... next time you need a last minute dessert for your family or party, throw that cream cheese in the grocery order so you can mix this up 🙂

    Cheesecake Fruit Dip Ingredients

I always have the simple ingredients for this cream cheese dip on hand.

    • room temperature cream cheese blocks - the stuff in the tub just isn't as good
    • powdered sugar
    • vanilla extract
    • lemon juice
    • heavy cream

What Equipment Do I Need For This Recipe

Electric Mixer: some kind of electric mixer whether you have a stand mixer or hand mixer to take the heavy work off of your arms.

Other than that, you'll want a large mixing bowl as well.

How to Make This Fruit Dip

stand mixer with cream cheese on whisk attachment

I'm not a very patient person, which is another reason why I like this so much. Making cheesecake fruit dip takes just ten minutes to mix up and there's not a lot to clean afterward. The hardest part of this recipe is waiting for the cream cheese to get to room temperature. Just dump the ingredients into your stand mixer and whip until it's combined. I spend so much time food prepping, making dinner, and cleaning my kitchen that this is about all the energy I have for dessert on some days.

    • It the bowl of the stand mixer, use a paddle attachment to mix the cream cheese by itself on low speed.
    • Then, add the powdered sugar, vanilla, lemon juice, and heavy cream.
    • Mix on low until the ingredients are well combined

    Ways To Serve Cheesecake Dip

Other ways to eat cheesecake dip aside from your favorite seasonal fruits, you ask... While this is an easy fruit dip recipe, we can serve it with so much more. It's also good on a graham cracker for an afternoon snack or you can crush graham crackers up and sprinkle the crumbs on top to really make it cheesecake-y. You can dip pretzels in it if you want. Lastly, you can put a little dollop of it in a fruit and yogurt parfait with some granola to make it extra special.

    • fruit platter with summer fruit such as:
    •  strawberries
    • apple slices
    • cantaloupe
    • pineapple
    • grapes
    • fresh berries

    Non-fruit dipping options:

    • graham crackers
    • vanilla wafers
    • pretzels
    • bagels

Can I Make Cheesecake Dip Ahead Of Time

You can certainly make this dip ahead of time days in advance. I like to have it on hand in the fridge anyway for a easy snack or fun dessert.

After you combine all of the ingredients for this creamy dip, transfer it to an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator for up to a week. When you are ready to, take the dip out of the refrigerator and let it come up to room temperature for an hour. Stir the dip and transfer to a serving bowl.

    Recipe Modifications And More Flavors

So, I personally love this dip with the cheesecake flavor as is. However, another popular version is to too mix in marshmallow fluff. You can add one cup of marshmallow fluff as a great way to puff up and give it a creamy texture.

Make this with with different flavors by omitting the lemon and using orange juice with fresh orange zest instead. It's so tasty, kind of like a creamsicle.

If you love caramel cheesecake, drizzle on your favorite store bought caramel sauce and very gentle swirl it in. Then add just a little extra for a beautiful presentation on top.

Another great addition is to mix in a quarter of a cup of chocolate hazelnut spread. Chocolate cheesecake is one of my favorites. You can also sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top for decadent treat.

Are You Making This Fruit Dip For A Crowd

This is the easiest dip to make for your next party, baby shower, or Sunday cookout. You can easily make a double batch in your mixer without any other modifications.

Serve cheesecake fruit dip is perfect for:

    • baby showers
    • kids birthday parties
    • brunch
    • Valentines or Galantines parties
